GERMPRO 7010 GERMINATION TESTER
The GermPro 7010 makes measuring the enzymatic activity in germs or embryos of grain kernels and seeds
fast and simple. Its accelerated vacuum reactor promotes a reaction that occurs when enzymes, found
naturally in grains, come into contact with a tetrazolium salt solution. When a grain capable of sustaining
germination comes into contact with the solution a colour change occurs which stains the germ red. By
examining the grains it is easy to determine the germinative capacity of the sample.
